We have created a safe place for men to talk to each other with no judgement, this platform is a mens only group due to the figures of 2019 Preliminary Coroner’s report, we also have a public page for the general public to follow what we are doing thoughout our local community’s while supplying key facts and awareness around Mental Health.

Victorian Brotherhood Male Support and Suicide Awareness is a group of men supporting each other. We currently have over 20k members in our private men’s only group.

The Victorian Brotherhood is self-funded through merchandise sales of Victorian Brotherhood branded items and donations that are put forward from members of the group and the like.

To date we have put $25k+ back into local and surrounding community’s helping & assisting those battling, supporting families and men struggling with food vouchers, donated $2500 to ‘A Helping Hand’ for families of returned Veterans that have taken their lives, helped support families with food and supplies that have lost their loved ones to suicide and put several of our members through coaching for mental health and addiction and helped clothe and feed homeless men.

Victorian Brotherhood is a safe place for men to talk and seek support from other men that have experienced, or are experiencing the same or similar emotions and thought processes in a judgement free environment.

Built on the foundations of love, respect and support.

In society we notice most people listen to respond so the foundation has an environment of listening to UNDERSTAND this way people feel supported and listened to as most have never felt this.
As men, many have felt they are meant to remain strong, show no emotion, bring the money home.
But that is not the reality at all.
Men feel emotions, get depressed, have anxiety, men cry and we promote it is not weak to speak. We push the messages that it is ok not to be ok, its ok to cry, its ok to be sad and most of all its ok to ask for help.
As a group of likeminded men, we are not professionals.
A grass roots group breaking the stigma of men’s mental health, we actively recommend professional supports.

#RaiseAPen

We run a Zoom group 4 nights per week for men to talk and recommend those that are currently struggling that there is help there and we the Victorian Brotherhood community are here to help and guide you in the right direction.
This group is not currently a Non-For-Profit Organisation or Charity but we are in the process of becoming one.
We are fully self-funded by selling Victorian Brotherhood Branded merchandise, this allows us to fund community engagement activities to the less fortunate. This ranges from essential food vouchers, fruit and vegetable trays from local sources through to sleeping and cooking equipment for the homeless.
The founders alongside with the admins and moderators of the Victorian Brotherhood are not Mental Health Experts, or trained in anyway in Mental Health.
Everything we envision this group to be and become is strictly though life experiences with mental mealth issues and real-life day to day challenges along with our own experiences we have been though.
This ranges from Anxiety, Depression, Behavioural Disorders, ADHD right though to PTSD.

Please help us spread awareness and get the Australian wide discussion further into male suicide.
A few rules that our private group abides by:
1. Be respectful and mindful of others – We don’t know what others have been through. Be mindful of other members as we don’t know what they else have been through. We do not allow disrespect towards the opposite sex in anyway.
2. Keep profanity to a minimal, no disrespect – Under FB rules they have the right to remove content and that could affect the group as a whole. Please use ** or ## so it doesn’t breach FB rules.
3. No bullying or hate speech – Any bullying or hate speech will not be tolerated (e.g., about sexual orientation, race, religion, personal attacks, slander etc) and the leadership team will deal with this accordingly. Please remain respectful to everyone, members AND non-members.
4. No screenshots or copying of material – Strictly no taking screenshots or passing information on outside the Victorian Brotherhood group as this is a safe place for men, and needs to remain this way. Breach of this will be dealt with.
5. No advertising your business or selling products – This is a support page for mental health and not a buy/swap/sell page, so no advertising your business (accept in the business listing) and no selling products without consulting with Admin prior.
6. No asking for money from members – Asking for money from members is not tolerated, we may (at our discretion) support members with food vouchers and support but asking for cash is not tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly.
7. No political/religious posts – We do not accept political, religious, or posts that can cause arguments as debates over unrelated topics cause negative drama.
8. No charities/fundraisers/GoFundME (Contact admin) – No charities, fundraisers, advertising unless you have directly contacted the Admin team and been approved prior. You need professional courtesy and to contact the leadership team prior to posting.
9. No encouraging gambling, drugs or drinking – Gambling, drugs or excessive alcohol posts can be a major problem in mental health and we have many members struggling with addiction. Please be respectful of other members.
10. Post approval – Admins hold the sole-rights here at Victorian Brotherhood to accept, refuse and or delete posts of any nature without cause and reason in accordance with the Victorian Brotherhood.
